I
love this old log building. I has a lot of character and speaks volumes
of a bygone era that is still being kept alive by the residents of this
thoroughly charming community. If you are ever in the neighborhood of Hope
(who am I kidding, no one is ever in the neighborhood of Hope, you have
to make a special effort to go there, but it is definitely worth it) be
sure to stop and chat with the friendly residents of this community from
the gold rush days. (They have lots of interesting stories!)
