Storms build
quickly in the high desert regions of Arizona & Utah. One should always
be prepared for such an occurrence. In this case, I would have been stranded
for at least several hours, perhaps a day or two. The reason is that the
road would quickly become impassable as it turned into a muddy quagmire.
Luckily, the storm passed without a single drop of rain, in my location
at least. I was, however, prepared for the worst with adequate supplies.
The storm clouds made a beautiful backdrop to the scenery.
