Agathla Peak

Agatha Peak is the plug (central core) of an ancient volcano. It is near the southern border of Monument Valley. It stands practically alone on it's own desert landscape and is very photogenic. If there are beautiful cloud formations, so much the better. It is very nice to find this volcanic formation among all the beautiful sandstone formations of this region.
