Alas, the
last time I visited Monument Valley(2002), this was no longer there! Too
bad, it was a great scenic detail and it was very authentic. I am sure that
it was lived in by some Navajos at one time or another. Nature, time and
weather take there inexorable toll! I only hope its demise was natural and
that it was not vandalized. The Navajos have another one that you can photograph
(for a fee), but it is not in a setting anywhere near this magnificent.
