The day was
overcast and there was a slight drizzle. My companions and I were walking
along one the trails in Yosemite Valley. Up ahead in the forest was a lonely
little tree. It was surrounded by huge towering pines and firs. But it was
definitely the star of the show that day. It literally glowed like it was
plugged into a light socket. It seemed to be saying, "take my picture!"
So I did.
