Our most
popular Yosemite photograph. The wonderful colors of autumn reflected in
a very calm Merced River, with low angle light providing additional drama.
It just doesn't get much better! No need to say much else, this photo speaks
volumes for itself. PS - The reason the cliff in the background is blue
is that its in the shade, therefor its reflecting the blue skylight and
not the warmer sunlight. When looking at this scene with your eye, your
brain compensates and you see the cliff in more natural colors. Not so with
film!
