I love reflections,
and this is a really nice one! The Merced River is very full in spring and
early summer and, unless there is a breeze, it is very calm due to the flatness
of Yosemite Valley. Great conditions for reflections. By the way, that beautiful
waterfall is, I believe, the highest in America. It drops over 2000 feet
(including both the upper and lower falls). That also makes it one of the
highest in the world! In spring and early summer there is so much water
in the falls that it shoots as much as 10 feet from the edge of the cliff
before it begins to drop.
