Here, the
Merced River has so much water that it looks like a lake. This photo was
taken in late spring, you can still see some traces of snow in the background.
This is one of our award winning photos (a Peoples Choice award) and also
one of our most popular. It is so peaceful and tranquil that it make me
just want to sit against the trees and soak up the beauty. Might also be
a good spot to try your hand at fly fishing. Of course the photo was taken
early in the morning, or there would be no mist.
