Death Valley
is a place of exquisite beauty. It is also a place where the foolhardy come
to a quick demise. Summer temperatures can top 125 degrees easily. The best
time to visit is late fall through early spring. Zabriski point is one of
the more colorful places to visit. But the colors change rapidly with time
of day and weather conditions. There was a storm brewing when I took this
photo. A rare occurrence in Death Valley.
