Bow Lake
is one of many outrageously beautiful lakes in the Canadian Rockies. Note
the great resort on the north shore of the lake. I know the photo looks
tilted, but it's not. That illusion comes from the curving shore of the
lake and that rakishly tilted mountain on the right. I use levels on both
my camera and tripod to avoid such mishaps. Note also that the trees are
reasonably straight up and down, that's a pretty good clue that the photo
is actually pretty level.
