The harshness
of the barbed wire and the softness of the wildflowers seem to provide an
interesting contrast. The old fence post adds its own charm. This scene
is near Elkhorn, an old ghost town from the Gold Rush days. Mother nature
is rapidly reclaiming many of these old ghost towns. Hopefully, we photographers
will have them well documented before they disappear.
