There are
excellent views of Mt. Jefferson from McKenzie Pass. This Rugged volcano
dominates the skyline as you wind up to the pass. One of Oregon's most beautiful
peaks. At 10,492 feet elevation, Mt. Jefferson is a large volcano. It has
not erupted in recorded history, the last eruption being about 950 AD.
