On
the way down the trail from the lighthouse I looked back and saw this beautiful
scene. After several tries to get the exposure and the beam of light just
right I got this image. The glow of the sunset on the horizon adds a lot
of interest and provides a colorful backdrop for the silhouetted trees and
lighthouse. Don't put your camera away too soon or you will miss these fleeting
opportunities to capture unusual images.
