Oregon's
tallest lighthouse. It sits on Cape Foulweather, just NW of Newport, Oregon.
It looks very lonely and the overcast sky just adds to this effect. After
several tries, I managed to get a composition that included a couple of
gulls to give it an even more nautical feel. I think the use of open space
adds to the mood of isolation and loneliness of this lighthouse. The lack
of trees on this windswept outcrop adds to the feeling.
