This is one
of Zion's most famous landmarks. Not only is it a very prominent feature
of Zion, there is a trail to the very top of it. This trail, or at least
the the last part of it, is not for those intimidated by height and exposure.
The last several hundred yards are along a steep, very narrow, ridge where
posts and chains have been installed for safety. Pretty exhilarating for
those who can stand the excitement. I hiked past this part of the trail
on my way to the West Rim. Now I wish I had also gone to the top of Angels
landing. The view must be stupendous!
