Very few
of the visitors to Zion National Park ever go to the Kolob Canyons region.
It is a bit out of the way, but very definitely worth the trip. Since the
Kolob Canyons are at a higher elevation than the main part of Zion canyon,
autumn arrives there sooner. I liked the riot of color in this little arroyo
and the 'God Beams' are an added attraction. You can get these beams in
your photographs when you shoot into the sun (backlighting) under the right
circumstances.
