The folks
in Utah seem to like naming rock formations 'The Organ'. There is another
one in Zion National Park. I suppose it may have something to do with the
huge, and very beautiful, organ in the Tabernacle in Salt Lake City. Any
way, this is a very striking sandstone fin and I suppose if you use a little
imagination it could resemble a large pipe organ. This early morning shot
was on an overcast day, but by waiting around for about 45 minutes I was
able to get a break in the overcast. Patience pays!
