The main
road in Zion ends at the Temple of Sinawava. From here you can hike into
the famous narrows of the Virgin River. Be sure to heed the warnings at
the trail head. The Pulpit is a rock formation that stands more or less
in the center of the Temple of Sinawava. That is the Virgin River in the
foreground. If you have your bike with you, it is mostly downhill back to
the campground. You may want to stop at the Zion Lodge on the way back for
refreshments or something to eat. (The food is good)
