Del Campo
Peak is one of my favorite mountains. It's rugged alpine beauty makes great
photographs and it almost always is in some kind of moody situation. This
one made it on the evening news up here in Seattle. What's not to like?
A huge rugged mountain floating in a cloud! Works for me. We had just had
some very stormy weather and I drove to my favorite viewpoint to see what
Del Campo was up to. Mostly, it was shrouded in clouds, but they were beginning
to dissipate. So I stood there for nearly an hour waiting for that proverbial
right moment. It finally happened, and it was worth waiting for.
