You can find
an enormous variety of mushrooms along Washington's mountain highways in
the fall. I think mushrooms are a terrific photo subject. There are so many
varieties and they all photograph well! Perhaps our abundant mushroom population
helps make up for not having the beautiful hardwood forests in fall colors,
like New England.
