Heather
Meadows is a beautiful stop along the road to the parking lot for the trailhead
to several of the best hikes in the Mt. Baker area, including my favorite,
the Artist Point Trail. There are also hikes and short walks in the Heather
Meadow area, plus a great interpretive center (also very photogenic in its
own right). There is also this great little pond that reflects the surrounding
landscapes! A must see little area (there are some very nice picnic sites
here as well).
