A beautiful
sunset on a scenic stretch of shore. That's always a pleasing combination.
It happens often in the Pacific Northwest, but nobody ever gets tired of
it. By the way, if you want to know how to get those rays radiating out
from the sun, just stop your lens down to a small F stop (like F16). I also
underexposed the photo a little to bring a more drama to the scene. This
is also a situation where I am prone to use a filter (a split ND filter
in this case). I rarely use filters but they are useful, and even essential,
under certain circumstances.
