A heard of
elk grazing in a beautiful meadow with some of Yellowstone's famous thermal
features in the background - it would be hard to ask for a more interesting
nature scene. All this tranquility in the middle of a gigantic, active,
volcano! This photo was taken prior to the great fire that occurred in the
park.
